Description

How to use?

  1. Remove the protective cap.
  2. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and wipe with filter paper.
  3. Turn on the tester by pressing the ON/OFF button.
  4. Immerse the pH meter electrode into the solution being tested, no higher than the attachment line of the protective cap.
  5. Stir the solution gently and wait about 30 seconds for the reading to stabilize.
  6. After use, rinse the electrode with distilled water, wipe with filter paper, turn off the device by pressing the "ON / OFF" button.
  7. Put on the protective cap.

How to calibrate?

  1. Dissolve each buffer powder (pH 4.01, pH 6.86, pH 9.18) in 250 ml of distilled water at 25 °C. Note: dissolve each powder in a separate container.
  2. Turn on the pH tester; remove the protective cap.
  3. Immerse the electrode in a solution with a pH of 6.86. After the pH value of the tester stabilizes, press the CAL button for 5 seconds and release it. The display will start flashing and display a pH value of 6.86. Wait until the display stops flashing and displays “end”.
  4. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and wipe with filter paper.
  5. Immerse the electrode in a solution with a pH of 4.01. After the pH value of the tester has stabilized, press the CAL button for 5 seconds and release it. The display will start flashing and display a pH value of 4.01. Wait until the display stops flashing and displays “end”.
  6. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and wipe with filter paper.
  7. Immerse the electrode in a solution with a pH of 9.18. After the pH value of the tester has stabilized, press the CAL button for 5 seconds and release it. The display will start flashing and display a pH value of 9.18. Wait until the display stops flashing and displays “end”.
  8. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and wipe with filter paper.
  9. Turn off the tester and put on the protective cap.
  10. The tester is calibrated.
