  • The tester, based on the principle of measuring thermal conductivity, determines the authenticity of diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies and other stones.
  • Size of stones to be determined: from 0.03 carats.
  • Light and sound indication of the authenticity of precious stones.
  • Recognition of accidental touches to metal (an audible signal is triggered).
  • How to use?
    1. Turn on the tester using the “VOLUME” regulator – the first indicator light with the inscription “LAMP ON BATTERY OK” lights up.
    2. Wait for up to a minute until the device warms up and the second indicator light with the inscription “LAMP ON READY OK” lights up.
    3. Determine the size of the stone and the ambient temperature. Look at the plate on the back of the tester and set the corresponding number for the stone size and temperature using the "VOLUME" button.
    4. Remove the protective cap from the tester probe and apply the probe to the stone being tested, holding the tester so that your finger touches the metal plate on the back of the tester.
  • Scale value:
    1. If the tester scale lights up completely and the tester makes a sound signal, you have a diamond or a diamond in front of you. If there is no reaction from the tester, or the reaction is insignificant, the stone being tested is not a diamond. The red scale always means a diamond/diamond.
    2. The upper values of the yellow scale (number 7-8) mean sapphire, ruby, agate, jade.
    3. The lower values of the yellow scale (number 5-6) indicate topaz and amethyst.
    4. Green scale (number 1-4) means emerald, garnet, aquamarine.
